THE DEATH DEALERS

In 2815 the leadership of Clan WidowMaker realized the need for an additional Trinary with the primary purpose of being the Clans shock troops to spearhead major attacks. Later in that year the MTOE for the 88th Assault Cluster was formally constituted and warriors were pulled from other WidowMaker line units to prepare for the training of an entire generation of Sibkin.

For two long years the Cadre of the 88th mercilessly trained the newly formed unit and in the invasion of the Pentagon Worlds they saw their first major combat operations spearheading the assault for the WidowMaker forces. It was here they earned their unit Nickname of, “The Death Dealers”.

Upon the conclusion of the invasion of the Clan Home world planets Khan Karrige observed the 88th emerging from the darkness of mist and smoke in one particularly pitched battle to crush the enemy flank and bestowed the motto of. “Ex Umbris” upon the 88th, which means, “From Out of The Shadows”.

In the intervening years they have become a key component in the arsenal of Clan WidowMaker along with her sister units.
